Coursera

With over 1,500 courses, Coursera may help you learn new skills in almost every subject that a university provides, including business, social sciences, mathematics, biological sciences, and humanities. Along with offering video lectures and online tests, Coursera collaborates with 140 academic institutions worldwide. Other benefits include social support from other students and peer-graded examinations. While some classes are free, others might add up to $400.

Udacity

Developed with industry giants such as Google, AT&T, Facebook, Salesforce, and Cloudera, Udacity offers hands-on "nano degree" programs and credentials to help people become web developers, data analysts, and mobile developers. Each Udacity course includes several units with closed-caption video lectures and quizzes to help students understand concepts and reinforce ideas.
